Workshop Overview:

Join us for an immersive professional learning experience exploring how OpenSciEd Unit 7.6: Earth’s Resources & Human Impact engages students in making sense of real-world droughts and floods across the U.S. Participants will experience key lessons as students do—analyzing data, developing models, and uncovering how rising temperatures and carbon imbalances impact communities. Discover strategies to support student sensemaking, systems thinking, and problem-solving around climate-related challenges. You’ll leave ready to use the unit’s instructional resources to foster meaningful, community-connected science learning in your classroom.
