What Is The 6th Year Planned Program?
In Connecticut, educators who hold a Master's degree can continue their graduate-level professional development through a structured program known as the 6th Year Planned Program. Completing this program qualifies you for a meaningful salary advancement — typically $5,000–$10,000 per year, and the best part? Your first year's salary increase alone covers the entire cost of the program.
This is not a degree program. It's a smart, strategic investment in your career that pays for itself.
WHY DOMINICAN CA ONLINE?
Dominican CA Online is one of the only universities outside of Connecticut offering a state-recognized 6th Year Planned Program — and we've built it from the ground up for working teachers.
Here's what sets us apart:
Created by teachers, for teachers. Every course in this program is designed and taught by credentialed educators who are specialists in their subject areas.
