Jaime Fagan
As Primary Instructor:
With over thirteen years of experience in teaching K-3 grade and more than five years in presenting and facilitating professional learning, I am thrilled to share high-leverage practices with fellow educators. As a proud SDSU Aztec, I obtained my undergraduate degree and teaching credential from San Diego State University while I worked as a Major Gift Fundraiser for the university. This led me to my teaching career which began at Hilldale School, a private school in the Bay Area. During this time, I earned my Master's in Leadership & Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University. Then moved to Reed School, in Tiburon, following a move to Rocklin where I taught as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Innovator for Loomis Basin Charter School. Currently, I am the Program Coordinator for the Statewide Office for the California Reading & Literature Project. My experience has been in: private, public, charter, and university. Cutting edge integration and innovative practices fuel the life-long learner within me. This passion drove me to three programs with the Krause Center of Innovation in Los Altos Hills: MERIT (Making Educators Relevant through Innovative Teaching), the Chief Innovation Officer program, and the Online and Blended IMPACT program. As a Director for Capital CUE, it is my pleasure to serve and connect educators in the greater Sacramento region. My most rewarding work has been as an Induction Coach with both San Mateo County Office of Education and Placer County Office of Education. #teachersasleaders #create #edtech
