Course Overview
This course is an “add-on” credit opportunity to the summer course: EDUX 9904 Transformative Teaching & Learning
This predominantly asynchronous 6-week course will take you on an intentional deep reflection journey back thru your experiences goal setting this past summer and then thru one of your goal implementations this fall/winter that you put into action.
Course Format:
Weeks 1-5: Engage in weekly small group online discussions as you are guided thru research-based reflection theories and tools that will analyze and evaluate your actions this summer in EDUX 9904 and your actions implementing a summer goal into your practice.
Week 6: Attend a culminating ZOOM coaching conference (similar to an exit conference) at a mutually agreed upon date/time to share out the final results of your guided deep reflections and draw final conclusions about the impact your goal implementation will have on your practice going forward.
Objectives
By the end of the course, the participant will:
- Engage in a professional learning community.
- Reflect on the implementation of one goal from EDUX 9904.
- Participate in Guided Reflection Protocol processes for individual and shared reflection.
- Demonstrate what was learned through a coaching conversation.
- Refine teaching practice based on the Guided Reflection Protocol experiences.
