Course Description
From our own biology to the smartphones in our pockets, science plays a role in every aspect of our lives. For example, playing hockey, driving a car, and simply taking a walk have a basis in science discovered in 1687.

Welcome to EDUO 9508 – Newton’s Laws of Motion. The purpose of this course is to create a thorough, well thought out unit on Newton’s laws of motion. To that end, participants will not only be provided with resources on Newton’s laws of motion, but will also explore the next generation science standards as well as the importance of STEAM in education.

EDUO 9508 Newton’s Laws of Motion is a self-paced independent study course. Participants can have as much or as little interaction with the instructor as needed and have nine months to complete their unit.  Assignments can be turned in at any time along the way and a grade will be given upon course completion. The unit will need to include the standards being covered and consideration should be given to classroom management and the various learning styles of the students.
