Immerse yourself in social and environmental justice books that you would like your students to read.Discuss your reading with similar grade teachers Prepare Book Talks, independent reading recommendations, conversation starters and other activities. Guide your students into reading as a path to becoming educated citizens. Prepare opportunities for discussions and activities that help students understand and develop healthy concerns for social and environmental justice.

This course can be taken multiple times as 9049 and 9050 for 1 Semester Credit/Unit each.
