Rhonda Stephens

Welcome to another year of outstanding continuing education opportunities; as a Professional Development Coordinator for Dominican University in Montana, I can assure you from personal experience that the classes are designed to reward the best use of teachers’ time.

My personal favorite, EDUX 9930 Developing Curriculum to Engage All Learners for 2016-2017offers the opportunity during the summer to choose the number of hours you want and earn graduate credits accordingly.   You can be revamping your classroom, working at home becoming familiar with curriculum, creating concept maps, differentiating lessons, and/or setting objectives for the entire year; really, the sky is the limit with this teacher appreciation class.

Another plus is that the University allows you to take a class more than onces; as many teachers have shared, “Why aren’t all teachers taking this class!” and, “It’s a gift to yourself,” I agree.  You have to try it to believe it! Overall, Dominican University is a great choice for your continuing professional or personal growth objectives; I look forward to hearing from you.
