Welcome Ohio Teachers!
As a veteran teacher in Ohio, I am very proud to be a Professional Development Coordinator with Dominican and have the opportunity to serve Ohio teachers. The Dominican University of California, founded in 1890, has an outstanding reputation for developing high quality teachers. Their classes are designed specifically to fit the individual needs and schedules of teachers trying to meet the often overwhelming demands of educational reform. Most of these classes are repeatable and changeable to fit the teacher’s needs from one year to the next.
We worked closely with the Parma School District as they piloted our summer course. “This is the professional development that we have always dreamed about!” and “It’s so nice to have our summer work acknowledged” were among the many positive comments that I heard during the exit interviews.
I look forward to working with many more excited and motivated teacher/learners like the Parma teachers who recognize the value of the well-designed continuing education classes being offered at Dominican University in partnership with Educational Development and Services.
