Course Description

Creating talking stories will brighten the lives of every student! Pictello is a wonderful, inexpensive and easy app used to create talking photo albums and books on an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Students and teachers can create text-driven speaking photo or image-rich stories using text-to-speech technology in a variety of voices. Projects and be shared through iTunes Sharing, via WiFi using a free account on the Pictello sharing server or by exporting stories to PDF. Completed stories can also be printed! Designed by Assistware for special needs students, Pictello is a super-exciting way for all non-readers and developing readers and writers of all ages to enjoy and share their creativity! Course Assignments and Assessment

  • Completed work will be submitted to the instructor for review. You will receive feedback for each assignment stating successful completion or the need for revision. Project assignments will be evaluated based on a list of required tasks or by rubric.
  • Upon completion of the course a letter grade will be issued. The course is designed to take 15 hours on average to complete.
